🏗️ Mosaic Property Groups expands with new projects worth $570m
Brisbane’s Mosaic Property Group is cementing its presence on the Gold Coast with three new luxury developments worth over $570 million, taking its total pipeline beyond $2 billion. First up is Sophia by Mosaic, a $135 million boutique beachfront project in Palm Beach, alongside a planned $185 million ultra-luxury development in Burleigh Heads and a proposed $250 million, 37-level tower in Broadbeach.

🤖 Brisbane medtech company secures $5m investment
Brisbane-based Convergence Medical has closed a $5 million Series A funding round led by US-based Avicella Capital to bring its revolutionary arthroscopic surgical robot, VO1, to market. Fresh off acceptance into the FDA’s elite Breakthrough Devices Program, the VO1 promises enhanced precision and better outcomes for millions of patients worldwide.

💰️ Star Casino continues to crumble
Star Entertainment Group is grappling with severe financial strains and trouble securing new funding. Premier David Crisafulli claims the company failed to honour its agreement with the government that allowed the Queen’s Wharf project to proceed. While considering possible tax concessions to rescue the casino operator, he voiced concerns about Star’s history of broken promises in Queensland.
